Suspected Fulani militia have killed scores and destroyed property worth millions of naira in coordinated attacks on several communities and places of worship in Nigeria’s mainly Christian-populated Middle Belt region.
The Executive Secretary of the Christian Social Movement of Nigeria (CSMN) has accused the Federal Government of Nigeria of complicity in the Jos 29th March 2026, Palm Sunday attack, calling for urgent action to end the bloodshed.
The Justice, Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) of the Jos Archdiocese in North-Central Nigeria has described the Palm Sunday attacks at Angwan Rukuba as deliberate and well-coordinated operations executed on a clean slate, without any culprit apprehended by law enforcement agencies.
