The trend of forceful Islamisation of minors and teenagers across northern Nigeria without arrest and prosecution has once rocked Adamawa State, north-east, where a Christian teenage who recently escaped from her captors is now taking lessons in discipleship.
This revelation was made by Apologist Evangelist Ibrahim Dikko, who alleged that the “17-year-old Christian daughter who was deceived and converted to Islam via Baban Chinedu and Adamu Ashaka in Adamawa state.”

“She was renamed from Promise to Hafsat as an Ex-Christian to Islam”
Evangelist Dikko also claimed that “She was relocated to one of the Imam’s houses within Adamawa state for her Islamic knowledge.”
According to him, “she was renamed from Promise to Hafsat as an Ex-Christian to Islam and after all this the girl was moved to leave the camp where those Islamic daawas kept her and she successfully escaped.”
The Christian cleric also provided details about her relocation following the victim’s miraculous escape.
On how “Bishara Dole got in touch with her and she was picked for her discipleship school,” the clergyman clarified that, “We travelled to Adamawa for our mission outreaches between the Bishara Dole and the Karamin Garki mission outreach, and Rev. Mohammed was told about her and that was how we picked her for the Bishara Dole discipleship school for more discipleship follow-up;
“And she was under the Bishara Dole GS and we began to observe some abnormality, acting so strenuously and the GS conducted some prayers on her. She was manifesting and the wife of GS was so smart to know that sister Promise is pregnant. And her husband said to her, to run some tests on her to be sure of [what] we are suspecting.”

The Evangelist decried that the girl was sextually violated by the Imam’s son and is regrettably pregnant now.
“Unfortunately, this poor 17-year-old girl is pregnant with the son of the Imam where she was kept after she confessed Islam through Baba Chinedu and Adamu Ashaka,” Dikko alleged.
When the cleric asked Promise to provide further details, he narrated that “she said she was raped by the Imam’s son and he continues to force himself on her with the threat to kill her if she did not let him or inform someone about it. And that was what made her to run away from the Imam house; because the son of Imam was abusing her which was so evil on this poor girl.”
In a related interview with Rev. Mohammed popularly known as Bishara Dole found found on his TikTok account and Facebook page, Promise shared her horrific story with the former Muslim, now turned fiery Christian preacher.

The man of God lamented about the trauma the teenager has undergone yet pledging that the pregnancy would not be terminated.
“This poor girl was so traumatised and she [said it] is better she [dies than] to leave this. We continue to encourage her. She’s under the watch and custody of the Bishara Dole General Secretary.
“We continue to encourage her to allow the baby and give birth to the child. We can’t allow her to abort the baby,” Evangelist Dikko stated.
“We will take up the case for her justice.”
Both Evangelist Dikko and Rev. Mohammed assured that they would ensure that justice is served in the case of Promise.
“We will take up the case for her justice. We will take up this case with the authority to seek our daughter’s justice and to deal with those evil people, you can’t be abusing our children anyhow, and which constitution gave you the right to convert a teenage child?
“You shall all explain in the court. This is what you’re doing to our children, deceiving them to your …religion and abusing them, we will not leave this issue anymore.”
The Christian leaders charged believers in the north to stand up for their children and not allow them become prey to molesters and abusers.
“Please Christians in the north, most especially the north east, organise yourselves and fight the right of your children from the molestation and abuse of Islam,” they charged.
The Christian leaders cited the tolerance of their religion while urging Muslim clerics fond of brainwashing minors and teenagers into Islam to desist from that act.
“If this case were to be a Christian who did to Muslims, maybe the whole of that region could have caught fire with their violence or from one Sharia court to another.
“But low and behold we are so calm and following the whole matter so calmly without any violence and even the imam is so melted and seriously pleading.
“We will take it the more and we will deal with such that they are abusing our Christian children. We value them; if you don’t value yours. And stop touching our children. Stop molesting them. Stop deceiving them to [embrace] Islam at their teenage age…stop forcing them” they cautioned.
