Nigerian Pastor Praises Trump’s UN Speech on Christian Persecution

Fiery Nigerian Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo expressed gratitude to Donald Trump for highlighting the struggles of persecuted Christians at the recently concluded 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) while urging the global community to pay more attention to the attacks on Christians in the West African country.

President Trump had criticised the International Criminal Court (ICC) during the UNGA which held at the UN headquarters complex in Manhattan in New York, US labelling it an “out-of-control institution” and an “evil group of people.”

Dachomo delivered the emotional message in a viral video while seated at the mass burial for three members of his congregation, who were killed by suspected Fulani ethnic militia in Gassa on Thursday, September 24.

“Trump, thank you for advocating for us in Nigeria. The most persecuted in the world. Thank you for advocating for us at the United Nations address. I heard your address very well,” Dachomo stated.

He assured that he was praying for President Trump, “not knowing that today some of my members will be butchered.”

He went on to describe the gruesome details of the cold-blooded murder of innocent Christians on the Plateau.

“You see that head; all the head was scattered. The brain was outside. They have to bind the head. Gather his brains and everything on one side, and these people too,” Dachomo noted.

The advocate for Christians in Nigeria’s Middle Belt expressed gratitude to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for supporting persecuted Christians.

“I am on my way to Israel for the word prayer. Praying for Israel. Praying for the Jews. Praying for the government standing on behalf of Nigeria. I have to thank you, Benjamin.

“By God’s grace, I will be in Israel. We may meet one-on-one. To know the agony Christians in Nigeria face,” he maintained.

He expressed disappointment that Nigeria failed to highlight the plight of persecuted Christians in the country during the UNGA yet was hypocritically advocating for a two-state solution in Palestine.

“My government was there through Shettima. The vice president. My government did not speak about the persecution of Christians, the genocide in Nigeria, but they were able to stand and speak for the Palestinians that there should be two states; if that should be the case, there should be two states in Nigeria,” the pastor underscored.

Regarding the controversial Shariah issue in northern Nigeria, the cleric expressed concern that Christians are facing hardships under Islamic governance.

Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo appears deep in thought.

“Christians are not free; we are suffering under Sharia. The Palestinians want to establish Sharia in Jerusalem. When I land in Jerusalem, the power of demonic manipulation from the kingdom of Islam will suffer violent prayer,” he moaned.

The Pastor of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State, encouraged prayers, reached out to the international community for support, and asked for divine mercy.

“And the whole world has gone to support us. Prayer warriors from all over the world: America, Canada, France, Spain.

“They will come to present the case of their nation, and we are asking God to show mercy upon each one of us. To show mercy when I say each one, including the Fulani terrorists. Let God show mercy upon their lives,” he maintained.
