Fiery Nigerian cleric, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo has called for healing and restoration after visiting various Plateau communities sacked by suspected Fulani terrorists who have left memories of silent graveyards and ruined households.
In his 2026 Easter Message, the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, North-West Nigeria, Most Rev. Dr. Matthew Hassan Kukah disclosed that “Our land will heal not by the power and the sizes of our armies, guns and bullets.” He contended that “We need a new set of eyes to identify these traitors because it is their greed that has helped to sustain this ugly war.”
In his 2026 Easter message, the British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, has stressed: “that for many people this Easter comes at a time of uncertainty, with global events causing real anxiety for families and communities.”
