Once more, American Missionary Activist and President of Equipping the Persecuted, Judd Saul, has raised an alarm that “Barkin Ladi in Plateau State, central Nigeria, is under full assault by the Islamist Fulani Ethnic Militia.”
“Right now, Barkan Ladi, which is South of Jos, Nigeria, is under full attack,” Saul stated in a video broadcast on FB.
Underlying the absence of security in the area, he lamented that “the military has left,” stressing that “Only locals are defending the area.”
“Please tell Trump and the Nigerian government to stop the killing now.”
Saul used the opportunity to urge for international and local support from both the US and Nigerian governments.
“Please pray and please tell Trump and the Nigerian government to stop the killing now. So please, President Trump, Riley Moore, Ted Cruz, friends in the DOW, Nigerian government, international community, please intervene immediately now and stop the slaughter of innocent Christians in Barkin Ladi,” he stated.
He alleged that “The army has left. The army is nowhere to be seen. They’ve left the area. There’s only just a handful of people who are defending the community. The Fulani are in full assault.”

“Stop these terrorists immediately.”
Asking for urgent intervention to stop the shedding of the blood of the innocent, the activist decried that all the people have are the locals and the police.
“They are attacking right now. It is a massacre. It is not good. So I am calling on the United States government. I’m calling on the Nigerian government. Please intervene and do something now. Protect the innocent. Stop this crisis. Stop these terrorists immediately.
“Again, Barkan Ladi, south of Joss, in Nigeria, is under full attack right now as I speak. And the army has left. No one is defending these villages except for locals and a couple of mobile police. That’s it. They need help immediately,” he narrated.

The activist asked for prayers for the people whom he described as “our persecuted brothers and sisters.”
At least 12 people have been killed in separate attacks across Riyom and Bassa LGA late on Friday, 8 May, as well as into the early hours of Saturday, 9 May.
In a related attack on Saturday night in the Wang community of Bokkos LGA, 6 miners were reportedly killed by gunmen at a mining site.
Earlier this week, there was a series of killings, including an attack on a burial ceremony in mid-week and the death of 5 members of a single family in Barkin Ladi on 5 May 2026.

This is so sad. And more painful because nothing is being done by the government to avert this.
Thank you for reaching out. We pray for a better country!
